Configuration & System Settings | Introduction

In this section you'll find all the information you need for configuring and managing your auction platform. The configuration features allow you to personalise the look and feel of your website and how it integrates with your existing website, upload your legal documents and stationary, set up analytics tracking for your instance and set numerous system defaults.

Management of your iRostrum Platform is done in one of two areas, under Portal Configure or under Instance Configure and includes the following primary actions:

Under Portal Configure

> Update Company Information
> Manage Auction Charges & Tax
> Update Instance Styling
> Update Instance Set-up *
> Configure Online Payments

Under Instance Configure

> Add Lot Categories
> Add Viewing Venue Details *
> Upload Document Templates *
> Add Default Invoice Footers *

Note: All configure settings are set to defaults to allow you to get your auctions up and running quickly. Items marked with * will need to be completed before you run your first public auction. Unmarked items are either optional or will have been set in the creation of your instance but can be updated at a later date.
