The system supports the use of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) within text fields throughout the system.  It is important that you limit its use carefully to ensure that the data you format is only meant for presentation on the website and not for additional export or manipulation when the HTML isn’t required.

A good example of when HTML can be useful is to enhance your content is within the Item Description or Item Notes fields.  The use of <br> tags within the content will ensure new lines / paragraphs are used when presented to the screen.
